Lyrics: Rain in the south

After that night we put on our emotional shields.
Now, when some time has passed, I think it’s time we break those seals.
Let’s relax our grip, let’s face our problems of today
Let’s admit that it’s nice to slip away somtimes.

Oh, there’s a rain in the south. I think I’m gonna go there.
Oh, there’s a rain in the south. I think I’m gonna go there.

Held by no sense of time we searched for another way
You are maybe forced to play a part in this silly play
Tell me anyway if something will happen backstage
Maybe if nobody knew you’d be able to make me to stay.

But there’s a rain in the south. I think I’m gonna go there.
Oh, there’s a rain in the south. I think I’m gonna go there.

Oh there’s a rain in the south. I think we’re gonna go there.
There’s a rain in the south. I think we’re gonna go there.

  2. I recently bought In Fact on emusic and absolutely fell in love with this song. Great album and great band. Lots of attitude, cool synthpop melodies, and an excellent vocalist with a nice clear voice.

  3. How old were you when you made this song? It’s wonderful.

I agree with the comment of “Brian” above. It’s nice how clear the voice of the singer is. It blends in wonderfully with the minimalistic synths

    1. Thank you! I was around 14-15 years old. It was made on only one synthesizer, in a bedroom while the rain poured outside. /Måns

      1. That is brilliant. Thank you for your response. I have a small page on instagram where I post music I like. Is it ok if I upload an excerpt of the song, with the info you’ve just provided? I find it wonderful
